Position for Instrument Mechanician - Mining Industry - R700k - R500k
Job Description
Hire Resolve’s client in the mining industry is urgently seeking the expertise of an Instrument Mechanician in Phalaborwa, Limpopo.

Responsibilities:
  • Carrying out repairs and maintenance on all Electrical & Instrumentation equipment in the Underground area
  • Involvement in small projects to improve equipment
  • Assisting supervisor in compliance with planned maintenance system
  • Carrying out root cause analysis (RCA) on instrument breakdowns
  • Carrying out scheduled and preventative maintenance on the Open Transport Network (OTN) and Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) hardware for the section
  • Ensuring adherence to SHEQ standards
  • Carrying out LEGAL checks on relevant equipment
  • Fault finding knowledge on ProfiBus DP/PA and ASI Bus systems


Requirements:

  • Grade 12
  • Trade Test Certificate
  • At least 3 years of working experience in industrial instrumentation
